I'm pleased to report some great success at the 2015 Freshgrass contests. I won first place in the banjo contest against some extremely talented banjo players. The prize was a very nice Deering Sierra Maple banjo, prize money and a chance for Mile Twelve to perform at the festival next year. A big thanks to Alex Rubin and Nate Sabat for doing such a fine job accompanying me during the contest. My bandmate, Bronwyn Keith-Hynes also won first place in the Fiddle contest and Mile Twelve took third place in the band contest. Overall, a very successful and enjoyable weekend and we're thrilled to be able to perform at the 2016 festival - hope to see some of you there! In the meantime, check out my shows page which is now updated with gigs going through to May 2016.
