Touring Australia and New Zealand with No Bones About It and The String Contingent

I've recently returned to Boston after a two and a half month tour of Australia and New Zealand. No Bones About It had a fantastic 20 date tour throughout New Zealand in Nov and Dec 2014. We are so thankful to all of the wonderful people who put on shows for us and treated us so well! We played folk clubs, house concerts and other small venues around both the North and South Island, finishing at the Whare Flat Folk Festival in Dunedin. Here are a small collection of photos from the trip.

In early January, Alex headed back to winter in Boston and I set off for a five week tour in Australia with The String Contingent. We began by teaching at a two-week summer school in Canberra with 450 kids and 37 teachers, phew! We then flew to Tasmania to perform at the Sygnet Folk Festival which was a smashing success. In the last few weeks we played at the Newstead folk festival as well as a lovely collection of house concerts and art spaces between Melbourne and Sydney. Huge thanks to Chris, Holly and Wally for organizing this amazing tour. It was a treat to play with such great musicians AND be schoffered around the sights of scenery of Australia.

And now, it's back to a snowy Boston winter for me. Mile Twelve has several gigs coming up and you can check out the details of those here:

I'll also be performing this winter and spring with No Bones About It, Cold Chocolate, Southeast Expressway and the Reunion Band; details of which will be kept up to date on my shows page.
